With our http2txt solution we provide our clients the ability to automatically generate text messages directly from their back office systems or websites.  These text messages can either be Basic Broadcast or MT (mobile terminated revenue generating) messages. We will provide you with all the technical know-how necessary to send us a unique url string which in turn will generate a text message to any UK mobile number. An example of a website using this solution is TextMeAJob.com which sends MT messages at 50p each to pre-registered users.

Example - SMS computer fair notifications

We are employing this solution on behalf of one of our clients to deliver, via text, an alert of the client’s next computer fair. This information was traditionally sent via email or post. Text notifications have the advantage over emails and post, in that the client knows how many people have received the computer fair notification. It also has the added benefit of being much cheaper. The client therefore has a better knowledge of penetration (how many people will turn up at the shows), which in turn allows better organisation of resources in advance, i.e. how many staff to employ etc. This makes the business more manageable as well as giving the customers a better service.
